Compass Pavilion

Banneker park offers a small gazebo-type pavilion for rentals. The cost is $30/hour with a 4 hour minimum. There are no refunds for weather related or other cancellations. The maximum rental capacity is 30 people, as parking is extremely limited. The rental includes 8 picnic tables and 3 stationary grills. The site has designated accessible parking spots. During the warmer months, there are two Porta Potties on site (one is designated accessible). Please note that indoor restrooms are only available when the museum is open (Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm, and Sundays 12-4pm from May to October).

Process: Rental inquiries must be initiated at least three weeks prior to your requested date. Not all dates are available. Call the office (410-887-1081) during office hours with the following information: your name, request of dates & times (having back-ups in mind is helpful), projected attendance, description of activity, physical mailing address, phone number, email address. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to begin the rental contract. Full payment is due at least two weeks prior to rental date.

Bannaky House

The conference space in the Trueth/Bannaky House is available to rent only to non-profits with insurance. Rentals include two rooms, one bathroom, no internet, two tables and twenty chairs. Twenty people is the capacity for this space, and the rate is $20/hour with a two hour minimum. Proof of non-profit status and a Certificate of Insurance is required for all rental groups.
